Overview
PJ Dick provided CM at Risk services for the $8 million renovation and modernization of the 48,000-square-foot, two-story Clifford E. Barbour Library at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed in 2018, the project included interior renovations and exterior improvements featuring upgraded HVAC systems, a new elevator, enhanced technology access, study spaces, a café, media room, and updated shelving for the library’s collections. The renovation also included specialized environmental controls and a clean agent fire suppression system for the rare book collection, along with hazardous material remediation and high-end finishes including terrazzo flooring and custom millwork.
