Defense Finance and Accounting Service Center

Building data centers is essential for government operations, and the construction process and facilities must be protected both physically and electronically.

This massive 600,000-square-foot, seven-story structure in Columbus contains 50,000 pieces of granite and features the world’s second-largest local area network.

Somerset Courthouse

Courthouses are frequently one of the most iconic structures in a local region, with very unique architectural features. PJ Dick is proud to be a part of constructing these stately buildings.

PJ Dick provided construction management services for this $15 million courthouse annex and parking deck structure.

Residential Villas

Department of Veterans Affairs Residential Villas

PJ Dick has built apartments, dormitories, and residence halls, as well as several types of military housing. PJ Dick was the general contractor for construction of 61,000 square feet of residential villas and a 75,000-square-foot administration building.

This expansive, 130,000-square-foot project includes a certified LEED Silver administration building plus dining, recreational, and educational facilities along with six residential buildings.

Maryland State Police

The team at PJ Dick partners with city and county law enforcement agencies to construct forensic laboratories, which include state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, spaces for biology (DNA), chemistry, firearms, latent prints, and document analysis, as well as a photography lab.

The State of Maryland hired PJ Dick’s general contracting services for this state-of-the-art laboratory facility with spaces for biology, chemistry, firearms, and document analysis.

VA Hospital

PJ Dick works with government agencies charged with building and maintaining medical facilities.

This impressive, 198,000-square-foot, six-story medical facility was awarded LEED Silver certification and connects to the existing VA hospital built in the 1950s.

Correctional Facilities

Hazelton Prison

PJ Dick has been the contractor for multiple correctional facilities, including both minimum- and maximum-security prisons, including cells, security fencing, healthcare facilities, recreational areas, offices, central plants, garage, and maintenance buildings.

PJ Dick put its design-build construction services to work for this federal maximum-security penitentiary featuring 888 cells and 675,000 square feet of buildings.
