PJ Dick provided Construction Management at Risk services for the adaptive reuse of a historic building into the mixed-use Bakery Square development in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh. Bakery Square, converted from an abandoned Nabisco Bakery, features 216,000 sf of office space and 135,000 sf of retail space. PJ Dick’s work on site also included a 992-space parking garage and 99 surface level parking spots, and a 110-room Marriott SpringHill Suites hotel. PJ Dick was subsequently hired to construct several of the project fit-outs, including Urban Active, a 41,000 sf fitness facility, and space for the University of Pittsburgh. This project is LEED Platinum certified.
