Eight Point Wind Farm

PJ Dick Industrial provided general contracting services for the construction of 25 wind turbine generators, a collector substation, and transmission line connecting to the existing system. The wind farm includes 25 wind turbines, 18 of which measure at 799 feet — the tallest wind turbines to date in the country. The larger turbine foundations totaled 750 yards apiece, requiring a 5500-psi mass concrete mix to complete a monolithic pour.
