Point Park University Pittsburgh Playhouse

PJ Dick managed construction for Point Park University’s new, five-story, 92,000-sf Pittsburgh Playhouse. The project involved restoration of historic structures, which included areas of the existing University Center and Stock Exchange Building. The facility features three different academic theater spaces, a large scene shop, sound stage, prop shop, costume shop, and cafe. The historic facades of the buildings along Forbes Avenue were deconstructed and reinstalled as part of the new two-story, outdoor courtyard.
