Overview
PJ Dick provided CM at Risk services for the $27 million renovation of The Arrott Building, an 89,000-square-foot, 18-story historic office building located at 401 Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks registry, the building was transformed into The Industrialist Hotel, a 125-key boutique hotel featuring approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space and an additional 2,000 square feet of restaurant and bar space. Completed within an occupied structure, the project included restoration of interior marble finishes, replacement of exterior windows and doors, and significant mechanical system upgrades, while carefully preserving the building’s historic architectural elements.
