Overview

PJ Dick provided CM at Risk services for the construction of the new UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Duquesne University’s campus. The project included 200,000-sf of additions and upgrades the school’s multipurpose A.J. Palumbo Center arena. Construction included upgrades to the fan related areas , including two new concession stands, a new Club lounge that includes a central bar area, a new full-service kitchen, six new luxury boxes, one set of renovated toilet rooms along with four new sets of toilet rooms, and a new scoreboard with audio systems.

The PJ Dick team’s critical thinking skills and detailed planning were key to constructing a complicated infill as well as installing intricate building features, including a new façade with beautiful arched windows.
